Browse Indian language websites in firefox with out installing fonts

Install new fonts on your computer
Click 'START'
Select 'Settings'
Select 'Control Panel'
Double click on 'Fonts'.
Now you are on Fonts folder.
Go to 'File' menu. Select 'Install New Font'
Click the drive and folder which contain the fonts you wand to install.
Double click on the font.The font is now installed on your computer.
In order to select more than one font press and hold 'Ctrl' key and click on the fonts to add.

Boot your PC to safe mode at system restart
If you are working on a PC on normal mode and want to boot to safe mode on system restart,then go to 'START'
'RUN'
Type 'MSCONFIG'
Click 'OK'(Now you are usingt system configturation utility)
Go to 'BOOT.INI' Tab
Check on /SAFEBOOT
Then 'APPLY'
'OK'.
Now if you want to boot to Normal mode
Go to system configuration utility
Uncheck '/SAFEMODE'
Then click on 'APPLY'
'OK'.

Create startup disk for windows
Click 'Start'
Select 'Settings'
Click 'Control panel'
Double click 'Add or remove programmes'
Go to 'Startup disk' tab
Click on 'Create disk'
Then follow the instructions on the screen of your computer.
NB-Use a Floppy disk(1.4 MB) to make startup disk.You can use this startup disk, when your system fails to start.

Change home page in internet explorer
Open 'internet explorer'
Go to 'view'- 'internet options'- 'General tab'
Go to 'home page' area
Then enter the url you wand to make your home page.
OR
Select 'Use current', 'Use default' or 'Use blank' options.
Click on 'Apply' and then 'OK'

Increase menu appearing speed
Go to START>RUN
Type 'regedit'
Click 'OK'.
Then navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control_Panel/Desktop.
Go to MenuShowDelay in the right hand pane.Change it's value from 400(milliseconds) to a lower one.

Prevent your children from accessing harmful websites

Now you are on Content Advisor box.

Then click on 'Create Password' button
Enter your password
Confirm password
Enter an easy question on hint box(to recover password)
Press 'OK'.
Now once again go to 'Tools'-'Internet options'-'Content' tab
Click on 'Settings'
Enter your password.
Enter the website addresses on 'Allow the website' field.
Then click on 'Always' to allow always,'Never' to deny.
